Ann Mulhern founded Mulhern & Co. Advertising in 1985 to provide cost efficient, innovative advertising for the unique New Mexico market. The Mulhern philosophy is tied to reality. She maintains,"Advertising can have only one primary goal: it must make the cash register ring."
It's this kind of practicality that has built her cadre of 30-some loyal clients. As their project manager, Mulhern bills more than $2 million annually. Ann's matter of fact about the business, stating, "Consistency is always the key".
Mulhern knows about branding. One of her clients - Ron Bell - has the most well-known brand in New Mexico. "I sue drunk drivers gets local as well as national press today and it's a campaign that's almost 20 years old," she said. She went on to discuss that her client's creative works because it's to the point and cost effective. "My company doesn't work for the media," she stated. "We work for you."
In addition to Ron Bell, Mulhern has directed the advertising for other New Mexico mainstays like Blake's Lotaburger, Jackalope, and Montano Acura, to name just a few. Her marketing experience includes considerable public relations and corporate image campaigns as well as graphic design, brochure production, logo concepts, websites, radio, TV, outdoor, magazines, new product introductions, and just about any other form of advertising you can think of.
